This artwork reveals the hidden history of Scheulder. Inside the dark bell tower, of St. Barbara Church, I discovered historical inscriptions carved into the soft marl in beautiful handwriting, war testimonies of soldiers and children’s drawings. I have translated this hidden piece of history into a transparent, ochre-coloured installation that is brought to life by daylight.
