My design for the façades tells the story of Bedburg in four tableaux. Through perforated steel, it portrays the primeval origins of the landscape, the waters that shaped it, the transformation of the terrain through mining, and the gradual return of nature. The lighting concept follows and reinforces this narrative, creating a layered dialogue between image and light that reveals the evolving history of Bedburg.
